About Portcycling

From Coffee Rides.To Full Seasons.

Portcycling started as a non-profit cycling community in Portugal — coffee rides, social rides, people who just wanted to ride together. It grew into a coaching team building performance camps across Spain, Portugal, and France.

Our Story

A community first.
A coaching team next.

Portcycling didn't start as a training-camp business. It started with people who wanted a reason to ride together — coffee stops, social pace, no pressure. The structure came later, when riders started asking for more.

01
Coffee & Social Rides
45+ rides across Portugal, open to anyone who wanted to show up and ride. That's still where most of our riders find us first.
02
Structured Coaching
Joana joined, data-driven programming replaced "just ride more," and riders started asking for something more focused than a weekend spin.
03
Camps Across Europe
Seven camps for 2027, three countries, one coaching standard — the same team, the same approach, wherever you show up.
"Still the same team.
Just further from home."

How We Coach

What doesn't change.
Camp to camp.

1
📊

Data Over Guesswork

Every camp is coached to real numbers — power, zones, testing where it matters. Not "ride more and see."

2
👥

Small Groups, Real Coaching

Every camp is capped. Pace groups are set by ability, not by who shows up loudest. You get coached, not herded.

Non-Profit, Not Faceless

Portcycling is a non-profit association — run by the same three people you'll actually meet at the airport transfer, not a franchise.

Questions

Everything you
need to know.

Yes. Portcycling – Associação is a registered non-profit cycling association in Portugal. Camp fees cover coaching, logistics, technical support, and accommodation — not shareholder returns.
How can I join a coffee or social ride without booking a camp?
Our free community rides run across Portugal — follow our Strava Club or Instagram for the next one. No booking, no cost, just show up.
Where is Portcycling based?
Torres Vedras, Portugal — where our first community rides started, and still where the association is registered. Our camps now run across Spain, Portugal, and France.
How do I choose which camp is right for me?

Can I get involved beyond riding — coaching, guiding, volunteering?
Yes — message us. We're a small non-profit team and always open to riders who want to help guide routes, support logistics, or eventually coach.
